The whole foods are an excellent source of protein. Fish, beef can offer as much as 21 grams of protein in each 3ox serving. A cup of yoghurt can give 11grams of protein. Cooked lentil can offer 9 grams of protein. Other potent sources are cooked beans, tofu, cooked egg, hummus, cheese and cow’s milk. There are protein supplements like bars, shakes and powders. If you want to introduce a protein supplement in your diet. You have to ensure that they contain all proteins and not just whey protein. And also that the protein is composed of an enzyme that helps in digestion of protein. This will make sure that your body will be able to digest protein and reap maximum benefits from the supplement.

Proteins are a must for body building and staying healthy. You should be sure of the proteins that you consume. The right amount of protein intake can work wonders. It is best to know more about the proteins that you need to take, their proportion and also know about the supplements if needed in your diet. They should fit in well with your calorie expenditure and digestive process, so that they can be useful for your body.
