1. Visual Disturbances and Impairment
Visual impairment interferes with your normal sight. There are a lot of conditions which can cause visual disturbances. Some are permanent while some are temporary and can be treated as time goes by. It is important to treat the temporary disturbances as quickly as possible. Some examples of visual disorders are conjunctivitis, cataract and glaucoma. 2. Injury on the Head
Head injuries include any injury on the brain, scalp and head. This depends on the severity of the injury. While some injuries cause bleeding inside your skull and spoil your eye vision others cause damage outside your head and skull.
Closed injury, open injury and concussions are the most common types of head injuries. A closed injury does not penetrate the skull. While an open injury penetrates the skull. A concussion happens when the head is shaken drastically. This leads to headache and loss in consciousness.
3. Brain Tumor
Brain tumors can also cause blurred vision. Brain tumors are nothing but the abnormal growth of cells in the brain. Any growth inside the brain can cause problems because the brain is a restricted area. Brain tumors can be cancerous as well as non-cancerous.
Cataract is an eye ailment in which the patient gets a dense and cloudy area seen in the lens of his eye. It develops slowly and interferes with the vision eventually. People can end up with cataract in both their eyes which is a serious condition and it cause blurred vision. The different types of cataract are congenital cataracts, secondary cataracts and traumatic cataracts.
5. High Blood Pressure
High blood pressure also causes blurred vision. This is common in elder patients whose eyes have been given a lot of strain throughout their childhood and younger days. High blood pressure also increases the risk of heart attack; stroke and many other serious health issues are raised. Blurred vision is one of them
Astigmatism is a very common problem in vision This is caused because of an error in the cornea’s shape. With astigmatism, the front surface of an eye or lens has a curve which is very irregular. This can cause a lot of blurry vision. Thus astigmatism is one of the major reasons for blurry vision.
Near- sightedness or myopia is an eye condition in which a person sees the nearby objects clearly but the farther objects cannot be seen very clearly. A person suffering from myopia also suffers from a blurry vision when he tries to see farther objects. Thus myopia or near- sightedness is also a common cause for a blurry vision
